Phidim, August 16:

An invigilator at the SLC supplementary exam centre in Phidim Secondary School was expelled today.

Invigilator Bishnu Ghimire, a teacher of Pragatishil Primary School at Ranitar, was expelled for taking the question papers out of the hall during the exam and helping the students to bring cheating slips into the hall, District Education Officer (DEO) Ram Mani Pokhrel said.

Teacher Ghimire was involved in helping the students cheat in the exam, superintendent Laxman Siwakoti said.
