DAMAULI: District Court Tanahun has remanded three persons held on the charge of drug smuggling to custody on Sunday.

As per court sources, the accused are: Jit Bahaudur Gurung, 36, of Byas municipality, Radheshyam Lodh, 23, and Suraj Nepali of Patariya, Kapilvastu.

A single bench of district judge Krishna Prasad Poudel gave the verdict on Sunday. Earlier, police had filed a case against the three.

Police had seized a large amount of drug worth a million rupees from a private car.
