Banke, January 21:

Raw materials for clothes worth Rs 5 lakhs, which was imported by avoiding tax, was seized by the police from Jamunaha of Banke’s Piprahawa VDC- 3 last night.

According to investigation officer Inspector Pradip DC of district police office Banke,

over 15 bundles of clothes were seized by the police.

The police had raided the house of Khan after they had been tipped off, while they had to

use force to seize the clothes after the locals had retaliated.
