Dolpa, March 13:

A snowfall owing to incessant rainfall from Sunday has affected life in Dolpa district. The snowfall has affected all the VDCs in Dolpa.

The continuous rainfall for three days caused snowfall which has halted movement of people to and from the district headquarters. It has affected daily work in the government offices, CDO Hum Prasad Adhikari said. The snowfall has also disrupted flight, the only means of transportation in Dopla. Meanwhile, the locals are happy that the snowfall would enhance the production of Yarsagumba, a precious medicinal herb.
