BIRGUNJ: The town working committee of Birgunj on Friday announced first-phase three-day protest programme to pile pressure on the government to fulfil the demands of the agitating Madhes-based parties.

A meeting of the committee discussed the Madhes agitation and decided to form a 51-member committee to spearhead protests. As a part of its protest, a pressure rally will be staged on Saturday, an interaction on Sunday and a motorbike rally on Monday.
