BHOJPUR:  A son attacked his father with a sharp weapon, injuring him critically at Bokre in Tandi-8 of Morang district on Thursday.

Khagendra Shankar (19) attacked his father Laxmi Shankar (45) with the sharp weapon over a minor dispute at around 10 pm yesterday, according to the Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar.

Laxmi is receiving treatment at the Biratnagar-based Neuro Hospital.

Police said that they have arrested Khagendra and are investigating into the case.
