KATHMANDU: The Ministry of General Administration has decided is to make a special arrangement to appoint secretaries in 125 Village Development Committees from the earthquake-affected districts.

With the coordination of the Ministry of Federation Affairs and Local Administration, the MoGA would fulfill the need of VDC secretaries in the quake-affected districts.

A decision to this end was taken by a meeting led by Prime Minister and Chairman of the Nepal Reconstruction Authority Direction Committee, KP Sharma Oli, four days back.

The NRA Spokesperson Ram Prasad Thapaliya told the Rastriya Samachar Samiti that the earthquake survivors would be provided the relief amount through banks.

The Ministry of Finance has also directed for release of the relief amount with the coordination of Nepal Rastra Bank.
