ITAHARI: Locals of Inaruwa, who have been demanding the construction of regional stadium in their area, shut market places in Inaruwa on

Friday. Struggle committee members blocked the Inaruwa section of the East-West Highway from 8 am to 10 O’clock in the morning. Inaruwa Bazaar remained shut throughout

the day. Hundreds of vehicles were stranded in Inaruwa for two hours. Security personnel remained mute spectators evne when only a

dozen agitators had blocked the highway.
