RAJBIRAJ: A man died in a motorcycle accident in Sitapur of Saptari along the East-West Highway on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Jibachha Panjiyar (35) of Matihani-3, Mahottari district.

Police said that Panjiyar was a Statistical Assistant at the District Public Health Office in Siraha.

Police said that the tragedy occurred while he was heading towards his office from Biratnagar at around 6:30 am today.

Police suspect that the incident might have occurred after he lost control of his bike (Ba 1 Ba 3618).

A patrol team of the Armed Police Force rescued him and rushed to the Rajbiraj-based Gajendra Narayan Singh Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital but the doctors declared him dead on arrival.
