Stir will end regression: NC
Kathmandu, April 9:
No one can stop the ongoing movement undertaken with an objective of putting an end to regressive monarchy and restoring sovereignty on the people, Nepali Congress vice-president Sushil Koirala said today.
“The objective is to restore people’s sovereignty and to put an end to dictatorial monarchy,” a statement issued by him said, adding that instead of addressing the demands of the people the government is hell bent on intimidating the masses and boosting dictatorial tendencies. He urged all to contribute to the task of restoring the constitutional process.
Meanwhile, the Tribhuvan University Teachers’ Association (TUTA) president Shiv Prasad Munakarmi today flayed the way the government is dealing with civil society, political parties, human rights activists and the media.
