Water sources, the most important among the natural resources available, if not conserved would affect our life for long concluded the participants of a seminar organised by Namsaling Community Development Centre with the support of Nepal Water Partnership, Water Resources Development Organisation and CMS.

Chairman of the district Water Resources Development Committee and also the Chief District Officer of Ilam, Janardan Sharma Adhikary was the chief guest at the programme that constituted a 13-member ad-hoc committee on the convenorship of Namsaling Community Development Centre.

The members of the committee include Water resources sub-committee of the District Development Committee, Municipality, Women Awareness Association, District Irrigation, Drinking Water, Soil Conservation Office, and Federation of Journalists, representatives of Federation of Non-governmental Organisations, Ratna Adhikary, chairman of Mahamai VDC, Dhal Bahadur Gurung, chairman of Mabu VDC among others.

The first task of the committee would be to find legal approaches for the organisation.
