KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 28
The government has appointed journalist Bishnu Prasad Subedi as Executive Chairman of Gorkhapatra Corporation that publishes Gorkhapatra and Rising Nepal dailies.
A Cabinet meeting on Monday decided to this effect.
Subedi, who started his career in journalism from Himalaya Times Nepali daily, has spent more than two decades in journalism.
Earlier, he was associated with Annapurna Post and Nepal Samay online portal. Subedi is a permanent resident of Gulmi district.
