DHANGADI, JUNE 25
The government in Sudurpaschim Province, which faced criticism for the recently announced budget for the upcoming fiscal, is urging PA members to help pass it.
On Wednesday, the government held discussion with the PA members of its own party.
At the discussion held in its parliamentary party office, the ruling party urged its PA members not to criticise the government policies and programmes.
On the same day, Financial Affairs Minister Prakash Bahadur Shah also held discussion with the main opposition Nepali congress's parliamentary party leader Rana Bahadur Rawal and PA member Bharat Bahadur Khadka regarding the budget. Shah not only pledged to correct the weaknesses in the proposed policies and programmes but also urged them to help endorse the budget.
NC parliamentary party leader Rawal admitted that Minister Shah had met them. "He sought our help to pass the government policies and programmes. We told him in clear terms that we couldn't support the policies and programmes brought by flouting the constitution," NC PP leader Rawal informed.
Minister of Internal Affairs Purna Joshi also said discussions were held with PA members of her own party and the main opposition.
