BHOJPUR: A man was killed after a wild water buffalo attacked him in Kusaha-4 of Sunsari district on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as local Musaru Yadav (55).

Yadav was grazing his cattle near the Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve when he was attacked by the wild animal.

The incident had taken place on Thursday morning.

According to the Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar, he had died on spot.

The Laukahi Area Police Office is investigating into the case.
