KALAIYA: As many as 12 people suffering from swine flu have been administered medicines on Sunday under the supervision of health workers at Itahar village, Narahi VDC in Bara district.

The District Public Health Office, Bara has dispatched a team of health workers to the village for the same purpose, said Hari Chandra Saha, the Chief of the office.

31 people of the village were found to be infected with swine flu 15 days back. The DPHO sent a medical team after getting the information of the outbreak of the disease. Swine flu was confirmed in 12 of them upon laboratory tests, Saha said.
