KATHMANDU:

The government of Switzerland has agreed to provide a grant assistance of Rs 140.45 million to Nepal for the implementation of the Local Infrastructure for Livelihood Improvement (LILI) Phase I Project and as support to the peace process in Nepal.

Of the total amount, Rs 86.89 million will be placed at the disposal of the Nepal Peace Trust Fund, while around Rs 53.55 million will be used for the implementation of the LILI Phase I Project.

Two separate agreements to this effect were signed at the Finance Ministry on Friday, the Finance Minstry said in a press release issued on Friday.
