Kathmandu, March 2:

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a press statement issued today stated that Nepal considers Taiwan as an integral part of the People’s Republic of China.

“The Government considers the recent decision of the leader of the Taiwan Authority to cease the function of the National Unification Council and the application of the National Unification Guidelines with serious concerns. Nepal condemns this initiative that will have far reaching implications undermining peace across the Taiwan straits,” the release said.
