Talks between Big IV, UDMF end with agreement to meet again
KATHMANDU: Talks between the four major political parties and the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) have ended with an understanding to hold another meeting that would focus on the ongoing Madhes agitation and the proposed amendment to the new Constitution.
According to Ram Chandra Paudel, Acting Chairman of Nepali Congress, the meeting discussed on some informal issues, but could not come to a conclusion.
Paudel further stated that the issues raised in the meeting would be discussed within the concerned parties first before sitting for the next round of talks.
“Though the issues of demarcation were also raised, we have not discussed about resolving it yet,” said Paudel.
