DAMAULI: A person died after a bike he was riding on met with an accident in Myagde Rural Municipality-2 of Tanahun district on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as the 22-year-old Bishal Thapa of Myagde Rural Municipality in the district, according to the District Police Office, Tanahun.

The incident occurred when Thapa suddenly lost control of the bike he was riding on along the Prithivi Highway on yesterday night, informed Tahanun DPO.

Injured Thapa was rushed to the Damauli-based Ratnahari Hospital but he breathed his last while undergoing treatment the same night.

Meanwhile, the body is being kept at the Damauli Hospital for postmortem, and police are investigating further into the case.
