DAMAULI: A man who had been missing for five days was found dead in the confluence of Seti and Madi rivers in Tanahun district on Sunday.

Police identified the deceased as 49-year-old Durga Bahadur Ranabhat of Jhaputar of Bhirkot VDC-1 in the district.

District Police Office Tanahun said, the body was found trapped between two rocks in the river. Police Inspector Bijaya Poudel said the body has been kept at the Damauli Hospital for autopsy.

Meanwhile, police said investigation into the case is underway.
