In wake of the upcoming local polls scheluded for May 13, recruitment of temporary police personnel has begun today in Tanahun district.
Confirming the opening of application, Spokesperson at the Tanahun Police Office, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Yuwaraj Khadka shared that large pool of applicants had shown interest to apply.
It has been learnt that 1,292 police personnel will be required to be deployed during the local polls in the district.
Sub-inspector of police Kishan KC who is receiving the applications shared that more than 300 candidates applied on the first day of form opening itself.
