DAMAULI: A 13-year-old boy went missing after he was swept away by a river in Kumaltari of Byas Municipality-10 in Tanahun district on Saturday.

The boy has been identified as Ravi Ruchal of Galbubesi in Byas Municipality-1 of the district, according to the District Police Office, Tanahun.

Ruchal was swimming with his friends in the Madi River today when the river swept him away, informed police.

An extensive search is on for the missing boy, said police.
