BHOJPUR: A 55-year-old man died after falling from a bridge above the Tawa Khola in Taplejung district of eastern Nepal on Tuesday.

Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar, identified the deceased as Tara Bahadur Lingden of Mahale-3, Taplejung.

Lingden was returning home after visiting his relatives at Pedang VDC-3 in the district, police said

A police team deployed from Tallok Area Police Office collected the body and sent it to a local health facility for autopsy.
