Tarai protests to continue until demands addressed, says Yadav

JANAKPURDHAM: Chairman of the Federal Socialist Forum Nepal, Upendra Yadav, on Monday said that the ongoing Tarai protests would continue until the rights of Madhesi, Tharus, indigenous communities, Dalits and ethnic people were guaranteed.

Talking to media here today, leader Yadav claimed that implementation of the eight-point and 22-point agreements signed by the government with the Madhes-based parties in 2007 was the party’s 'bottom line' to sit for talks with the government.

Referring to the government's request for talks, he said dialogues in the present situation were not possible.
