Lahan, November 4:

Education Minister Mangal Siddhi Manandhar today urged temporary teachers to call off their movement as the government has registered a Bill in the House to accommodate temporary teachers through competition.

Inaugurating a meet of Nepal Intellectuals’ Council, Siraha, he said: “A process is underway to make permanent 12,000 of 17,000 temporary teachers through internal competition. Remaining 5,000 will be made permanent once they succeed in open competition.”
