Syangja, November 7:

Though the government decided to hike the salaries of teachers working in community schools by 20 per cent but teachers in Syangja say they have not yet received the increased salaries. The hike was announced in Magh last year. However, the district education officer at the Syangja District Education Office (DEO), Chitra Prasad Devkota, said the increased salary has been disbursed to the accounts of the concerned schools. But the teachers say they have not received the increased payment.
