Kathmandu, August 3:

Officials at the Lumbini Development Trust (LDT) said today they would not impose entry fees at the Mayadevi Temple in Lumbini, following a stay order from the Supreme Court — effective from tomorrow.

LDT contact officer Raju Bharati said the office today received the SC’s order to this effect and that the executive meeting of the trust to be held tomorrow would stop charging entry fees to the temple.

“We received the court’s stay order today. We will relay it to the officials in Lumbini not to impose entry fees on visitors,” said Bharati.
