Tense Rangeli returning to normalcy
MORANG: Daily life in Rangeli, the old headquarters of Morang district, is slowly returning to normalcy.
The town was tense since Thursday, when three persons died and eight others sustained injuries in a police-protester clash.
The United Dialogue Atmosphere Facilitation Committee is taking the lead to ensure that the shocking incident would not get any communal colour. Member of the Parliament Shiva Kumar Mandal, who is leading the Committee, has been holding all-side discussions to ensure that there is no further damage. The Committee brings together people from all walks of life.
Security arrangements have been eased following the request of the locals and traffic is getting back to normalcy, said Chief District Officer Toyam Rayamajhi.
