KATHMANDU: Tension ran high in Janakpur after the protest of Federal Inclusive Madhesi Alliance over a programme of Nepali Congress (NC).

The Dhanusha district committee of the NC had announced to stage a protest programme in Janakpur at 12 pm today.

Earlier, the Federal Inclusive Madhesi Alliance disrupted a solidarity rally organised by NC in Birgunj.
