Thailand ready to lend support in promoting tourism

POKHARA: Thai Ambassador to Nepal Bhakavat Tanskul has underlined Thailand's readiness to lend its support in promoting Nepal's tourism.

At an interaction held by Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) on Friday here, Tanskul noted that around 35 million tourists annually visit Thailand. He added that Thai government was ready to share its experience in management of such a large number of tourists.

Stating that Nepal and Thailand have enjoyed bilateral relations dating back 58 years, Ambassador Tanskul expressed a belief the relations in the grassroots level would contribute towards expansion of trade between two countries.

At the programme, PCCI Chairman Bishwo Shanker Palikhe said Pokhara's entrepreneurs and traders were eager to work with Thailand's entrepreneurs.
