Thapa lauds armed police

Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa today said that the Armed Police Force(APF) formed three years ago for the security of the country, crown and countrymen has fulfilled its responsibility in a praiseworthy manner.
Addressing the convocation of the basic training for Armed Police Force inspectors at the Armed police Force Training College, Kakani, Thapa said the force has been successful in proving its rationale and capabilities in a short span of time and expressed confidence that it will be able to maintain its glorious history with high morale.
APF IGP Sahabir Thapa said professional training is indispensable for an armed forces organisation, adding such training will make the servants of the nation fit both physically and mentally.
A total of 74 trainees were successful in the training which began on Chaitra 17, 2059 BS.
