Nepal Police have arrested three individuals from separate locations across the nation on charges of rape.
Bhaktapur: Police arrested a 19-year-old Bibek KC in the charge of raping a minor on Wednesday afternoon.
KC of Musikot Municipality-3 of Rukum and currently residing in Thapagaun in New Baneshwor, Kathmandu was arrested for beguiling a 12-year-old girl and raping her multiple times since July 20.
After a police report was filed against KC, a team deployed from Police Circle, Thimi arrested the accused.
Udayapur: Police have arrested 20-year-old Manoj Shashankhar of Belka Municipality-7 in the charge of raping a girl on Wednesday afternoon.The arrest came in the aftermath of a report accusing Shashankhar of raping an 18-year-old girl.
The victim alleged that Shashankhar forcefully entered her room on Sunday night while she was asleep, and under threats, committed the heinous act.Responding to the report, a specialized unit from the Area Police Office, Rampurthoksila, swung into action and successfully apprehended the accused.
Palpa: Police arrested a 22-year-old Bishal Thadrai of Pandekharka of Tansen Municipality-8 on Wednesday afternoon.
Thadrai has been accused of raping a 11-year-old girl on Sunday morning and and attempted rape of 13-year-old girl on the afternoon of the same day,
Acting promptly on the complaint, a team from the Prabhas Police Post ensured the arrest of the accused.
Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is undergoing, police said.
