KATHMANDU: Three persons from the same family were killed after a landslide following the incessant rainfall buried their shelter at Changunarayan Municipality-7 in Bhaktapur district.

Hira Lama (70) Pan Maya Lama (65) and two and a half year old Sampada Lama lost their lives in the incident.

A house at Aashapuri of Suryabinayak Municipality also collapsed due to the downpour.

A large number of security personnel have been carrying out rescue operations in the district.
