Three held with controlled pharmaceutical drugs from Pokhara

POKHARA: The Pokhara-based team of Narcotics Control Bureau arrested three persons allegedly involved in smuggling drugs from Prithvi Chok in the Lake City on Wednesday.

Police identified the arrestees as 28-year-old Geeta Gurung of Shantinagar in Siddhartha Muncipality-8 of Rupandehi district, 21-year-old Deepak Bishowakarma and 21-year-old Santosh Gandharva of Lekhanath Muncipality-7 in Kaski district.

An NCB team deployed under the command of Inspector Rabindra Gurung had arrested the suspects in possession 145 ampoules of norphin, diazepam and phenergan each.

Meanwhile, police said they are looking into the case.
