LAHAN: A joint patrol team of police personnel and forest officials arrested three persons along with a huge quantity of marijuana from Chure jungle in Lahan Municipality of Siraha district last night.

The arrested are Madan Bahadur Pulami and Raj Kumar BK of Bhaledanda-3 in Udaypur district and Ganesh Chaudhary of Lahan Municipality-17.

The team seized 200 kg of marijuana as well as a pistol and two rounds of bullet from them, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Uma Prasad Chaturdevi.

All of them have been kept at the Area Police Office for necessary actions.
