DHADING: At least three persons were hurt after a truck and a scorpio jeep collided head-on sparking fire in cement laden truck at Sathkilla in Thakre Rural Municipality-7 of Dhading district.

The bolero jeep (Ba 17 Cha 1093) heading to Chitwan from Kathmandu slammed onto with a truck (Na 5 Kha 8770) laden with cement coming from the opposite direction around 4 pm this afternoon.

According to Dhading District Police Office, fire broke out from truck's diesel tank before engulfing the carrier in flames after the collision.

All the injured passengers were traveling on the jeep, according to police.

Meanwhile, all the injured victims are undergoing treatment at the nearby polyclinic in Mahadevbeshi.

After the incident, the truck driver is at large and the highway was closed for two hours before resuming operation from this evening.
