Kavre, April 19:

Agitators severely beat up three persons accusing them of trying to disrupt the mass meet organised by the Nepal Students’ Union, Kavre on the occasion of the body’s 35th anniversary at Shahid Basu Chowk, Banepa on Wednesday. The three had pelted stones at the participants of the mass meet as former NSU general secretary Gagan Thapa was speaking. Suspecting the strangers were government agents, the amassed crowd beat the three up severely. Of the three, one Chandra Thapa was critically injured.
