SIRAHA: Three persons were killed in a road mishap in Bandipur section of the East-West Highway, Badamahara VDC, Siraha, on Wednesday morning.

According to the police, the incident occurred when a bus which was going to Biratnagar from Kathmandu, hit a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction, which was on its way to Janakpur from Siraha. Three people were riding on the motorcycle.

The deceased have been identified as Ram Pratap Yadav (28) of Sabaila-1, Dhanusha district, Sudeep Yadav(45) of Kashipur and Udit Narayan Yadav.

Sudeep and his son Udit died on the spot while Ram Pratap died after being rushed to Lahan Hospital.
