Siraha, July 6

Three persons were killed and two others injured in separate incidents in Siraha today.

Uday Mandal, a driver, died when the tractor he was driving met with an accident at Janakakinagar of Badiyarpatti-2, Siraha.

Similarly, Chandra Bahadur Alemagar, 42, was electrocuted at a home in Dhangadhimai Municipality- 6, Siraha. He died on the spot, police said.

Likewise, one person was electrocuted at Malhaniyakhori of Mirchaiya Municiplaity-2 while he was straightening iron rod used to build a house. The deceased has been identified as Shambhu Mandal, 37. Injured Shyam Kapar is being treated at a local health facility.

One person was injured when the tractor he was operating fell into a ditch at Bhadaiya of Lahan-18. The injured has been identified as Bali Sada, 35.  Sada was injured when the tractor he was driving fell into a pit. Sada has been sent to Biratnagar for treatment.

Three bodies have been sent to hospital for post-mortem, police said.
