BHOJPUR: A three-year-old boy drowned in the Bakraha River in Madhumalla-4, Morang on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Parenta Khadka, a permanent resident of Khabe Jhoda in Madhumalla-4, Morang,

His father Tika Ram Khadka saw the boy submerging in the river at around 10:30 am today, Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar said.

He was rescued from the river and being rushed to Damak-based Life Line Hospital when he breathed his last on the way, police said.
