RAJBIRAJ: A three-year-old girl died after she was hit by a pickup van in Khojpur-8 of Saptari along the East-West Highway this morning.

The deceased has been identified as daughter of Smat Miya of Pansera VDC-7.

According to the Saptari District Police Office, she died on the spot after being hit by a Tata pickup van (Ba 2 Jha 784).

Police have arrested the driver and impounded the vehicle, for further investigation.
