The Budhinanda Municipality paid for Khadak's transportation from Bajura to Nepalgunj, while film producer Amrit Dhungana covered for two tickets from Nepalgunj to Kathmandu.

According to NHEDF chair Samrat Singh Basnet, the Nepal Healthcare Equipment Development Foundation (NHEDF) is bearing the expense of his treatment and lodging in Kathmandu.

However, if Khadak requires surgery, which will be confirmed in a few days, it will be difficult to meet the financial requirements for the same, according to Basnet.

Jhimu, Khadak's wife, expressed gratitude to everyone who extended their support in bringing her husband to Kathmandu for treatment.

Khadak is also a freed Haliya of the (Ka) category. He used to feed his family by ploughing fields of others. There are eight persons in his family.
