Kavre, January 31:

Rajkumar Parajuli, local corrsepondent of The HImalayan Times, was attacked by the sons of Madhav Adhikari, central president of the Nepal Teachers’ Union (NTU).

Parajuli, who is also a member of the Kavre unit of Federation of Nepali Journalists, said Rupendra and Sangharsh Adhikari attacked him today. Kavre FNJ has sought action against the culprits. FNJ central president Taranath Dahal has aked the authorities to take action against the Adhikari brothers. Parajuli said Adhikari’s sons manhandled him in connection with a report in THT regarding a speech delivered by Adhikari during the NTO’s district convention on September 12.
