TULSIPUR, DANG:  Two persons were electrocuted after a tipper they were cleaning in a river came in contact with live wire in Deukhuri of Dang on Thursday evening.

The deceased have been identified as Chandra Lama (28) and Kumar Thing (20), both the residents of Gadi Rural Municipality-6 in Makawanpur district.

Driver Waiba and his assistant Thing got electric shock while they were raising the cargo bed of the tipper (na 1 Ka 5928) when it touched the nearby electric high tension transmission line, according to police.

The duo had gone to the Rangsi River to clean the vehicle after delivering the carriage to the nearby Arghakhanchi Cement Industry, said police.

The bodies of the deceased have been kept at the Lamahi Hospital for postmortem, informed police.

Meanwhile, the family members of deceased have already been informed while further investigation into the case is underway, said police.
