PALPA: A person died when the tractor he was driving met with an accident at Rampur Municipality-15 of Palpa district on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as tractor driver Jitendra Tharu, informed the Rampur Area Police Office.

Seriously injured Tharu had died on the way to a hospital, police added.

The tractor (Lu 2 Ta 5958) was ferrying stones to Bardeli from Baudighat near the Kaligandaki River when the accident took place.
