JHAPA: Participants at an interaction held here

today demanded that the government

end donation drive, insecurity, loan

crisis and other problems being faced by the industrial sector.

Speaking at the programme organised by the Office of Cottage and Small Scale Industries, the participants said that the industrial sector is discouraged due to the rampant donation drive. Addressing the programme, central member of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industries, DB Basnet, said they will submit their industries’ keys to the government if the government failed to address their demands within 15 days.

Director general of the Federation of Cottage and Small Scale Industries Bishnu Aryal said Jhapa district could not develop as per its potential due to problems faced by the industries there.
