CHITWAN: Vehicular movement has resumed along the Narayangadh-Muglin road section since 11:00 am after clearing the landslide debris deposited at various places on the highway.

The road section had been blocked since 5:00 am this morning due to landslide. The vehicular movement along the road section resumed at 11:00 am, according to District Police Office, Chitwan.

A massive landslide had occurred at Ghumaune in Bharatpur Municipality-29 of Chitwan district, said police, adding that landslides also occurred in two other places — Tope Khola and Jalbire — on the road section.

The two-way traffic resumed after the landslide debris were cleared.

Meanwhile, police have urged one and all to be alert while travelling along this road section.
