Nepal Sadbhawana Party (Anandidevi) general secretary Hridesh Tripathi on Tuesday said that he distributed the CD of Nepalgunj incident. Saying that the CD was the basis for Madhes agitation, Tripathi said he distributed the CD to make the Madhesis conscious about their rights.

However, he did not say anything about the negative impact of the CD. Madhes agitation could not achieve success due to lack of active political leadership, he said, adding that the CPN-UML, NC and Maoists backed Chure Bhawar Ekta Samaj to foil the Madhes movement. He further said that the country could become a republic if the eight parties agreed on the agenda.
