KATHMANDU:  A man died and two others were critically injured after a truck hit a  motor bike they were riding on in Golfutar of Budhanilkanth on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as biker Amir Ghimire, 21, of Chapali,  Budhanilkantha and injured Rajendra Ghimire, 26, and Munak Ghimire, 14,  of the same municipality.

Amir, who was critically injured in the  incident, died while being rushed to Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan  University Teaching Hospital, police said.

Rajendra and Munak were  riding pillion when the incident occurred. They are receiving treatment  at the same hospital.

Police said that they have impounded the truck and  arrested its driver for investigation.
