NEPALGUNJ: Two persons died on the spot while the bike rider was critically injured after a truck hit the motorcycle they were riding at Gulariya Bazaar in Nepalgunj on Thursday.

The deceased have been identified as Shova Parajuli, 57, and her daughter Madhuri Parajuli, 30, of Gulariya Municipality, Banke.

The injured was Shova’s son Sunoj.

Inspector Bir Bahadur Thapa of District Police Office, Banke, said that the accident occurred while their Shova, who was ill, was being taken to Nepalgunj Medical College for treatment.

Sunoj is receiving treatment in the same hospital, said police.
